Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My parents played their records. My brother and I would lay in front of the cinderblock sized speakers that had what looked like burlap screens. He the left, I the right. Together in stereo we'd listen to their music apart.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on AppleĀ Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ali Farka TourĆ©, Ali Farka Toure Bob Dylan, Planet Waves Jean Ritchie, Jean Ritchie: Ballads from Her Appalachian Family Tradition These are records that I return to the most. I have many favorites but these just seemed to be the ones that I could name immediately without a single hesitation. They seem to share an essential quality - energy and immediacy of their performances.
