Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memories are of my mother singing gospel songs to my sisters and I. As we got older we would sing together and that's how I learned to harmonize. I also recall my father listening to his jazz records.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Angélique Kidjo, Black Ivory Soul Dorothy Masuka, Live at the Mandela Theatre Miriam Makeba, Miriam Makeba There's a passion, a feeling, a kind of energy in their music that I identify with and feel within me.
