The Michigan indie rock duo Lost Child has been honing its experimental space rock since the mid-'90s, when schoolhood friends Brett Zylstra and Steve Fowler formed a common bond with alternative music. Both picked up a guitar and shared the influences of R.E.M., Radiohead, Cracker, and Sparklehorse, and in fall 2000, Lost Child self-released their debut Feat on their very own Terraplane Lull Records. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
