Dutch vocalist Pearl Jozefzoon trained at Fontys Conservatorium, where she appeared in productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Flying Dutchman, and Rent. Upon completion of her studies, she starred in several musicals and then competed in the first season of The Voice of Holland. She finished in second place, but she later appeared on Van Popster tot Operaster and won the title of Opera Star 2011. In February 2013, she released her debut album, The Time Is Now, which featured her versions of Coldplay's "Clocks" and Secret Garden's "You Raise Me Up" (popularized by Josh Groban and Westlife). ~ Andy Kellman
