Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I've been surrounded by music my whole life. Some of my fondest memories come from my Pa's old house, blasting Blue Oyster Cult on his speaker system. I've had a soundtrack to my life from day one.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Boards of Canada, Geogaddi TOOL, Lateralus Toby Fox, Undertale Soundtrack Although it's difficult to determine my "Top 3" albums, I feel these albums represent 3 crucial pillars to my musical taste and attitude. Geogaddi, however, is for sure my #1 favorite album, some of the best electronic work of the last 2 decades.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Please Don't Leave” This song is incredibly special to me. It's a recreation of an older idea I had drafted out before my hard drive died. I feel it serves as an excellent culmination of the ideas of Sounds For Departure and one of my best works.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My first time being played on a New York City radio, back in early 2020. I feel even though it wasn't necessarily notable, that was a major step for me and made me feel more confident in my abilities. It's surreal to be like "Yeah, I'm on the radio."
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are plenty of things left to do for me. I never want to stop improving my work, and I love branching out into new territory. I'll always have new inspiration, and every time I'll add them to my list of "Stuff I wanna try"
