Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Being in the studio with the legendary Diamond D at Gat3 Studios in Charlotte was unforgettable. His energy and wisdom were inspiring, and the experience pushed me to elevate my craft and reminded me why I love hip hop.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Diamond D, THE DIAM PIECE 3: INITIUM J. Cole, Born Sinner (Deluxe Version) Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe Version) My top 3 albums are Good Kid, M.A.A.D City for its storytelling, Born Sinner for its reflection and resilience, and The Diam Piece 3 for Diamond D’s timeless production and pure hip hop energy.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Numb” This song is special to me because it allowed me to be vulnerable. I’ve always struggled with expressing my emotions, but creating it felt like the first step in coming out of my shell and truly opening up.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? At the North Carolina Hip-Hop Fest, I performed three days straight, taking every opportunity to be recognized and remembered. I gave everything I had on those stages, leaving my heart and energy with the crowd every time.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I’ve always wanted to work with Black Milk ever since hearing his Popular Demand album. I definitely need to lock in more records with Diamond D because we already made a banger. At the end of the day, I just want to keep creating great music.
