Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I asked my parents for FL studio as a Christmas gift when I was 11, and I remember my first project ever being a piano cover of "Stereo Madness" by Forever Bound. No samples, no mixing or mastering, just piano track. Simpler times!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe Version) Tyler, The Creator, CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST These three albums are some of the greatest modern hiphop albums in my opinion. The narrative on "good kid, m.A.A.d city," the vignettes in "To Pimp a Butterfly," the variety of sound from "CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST"--I don't know how they do it!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Attention” This song is arguably the catchiest song I've released so far. There were a lot of elements with this song--the background vocals, the bass guitar, the bouncy drums--that I was merely experimenting. Yet, they all came together perfectly!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I think the most memorable moment as a producer for me was the night of the release of "searching" with Zoom, my brother. We met up at my college, got Honey Grow as per usual, and waited in anticipation for our year-long project to finally drop.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I don't have a "bucket list," per se, but there are still a lot of genres and project ideas that I want to explore as a producer. I've always thought making a game OST would be sick. A real story album, with skits and all, is also a big want for me.
