About The Soundcarriers
The Soundcarriers' oft-spooky, always enchanting sound is informed by German music of the early '70s, English folk, library music, Tropicalia, jazz, and lounge, as well as the pop end of psychedelia. They compiled an impressive slate of albums beginning in the late 2000s that culminated in 2014's Entropicalia, a rare, guitar-based record on the influential Ghost Box label. After a long break, the group came back with a pair of albums -- 2022's Wilds and 2024's Through Other Reflections -- that served up a more powerful take on their hazy shade of psych.
