About Twiddle
A Vermont-based jam band that draws from a wide range of influences including bluegrass, jazz, reggae, rock, and funk, Twiddle was founded in 2004 at Castleton State College around the talents of Mihali Savoulidis (guitar, vocals), Ryan Dempsey (keyboards, vocals), Zdenek Gubb (bass, vocals), and Brook Jordan (drums, percussion, vocals). Known for their prodigious live performances, the band released their debut album, The Natural Evolution of Consciousness, in 2007. Their sophomore studio long-player, Somewhere on the Mountain, arrived in 2011, followed by the concert LP Live at Nectar's in 2014. In 2015 they released volume one of a planned two-part set. The resulting Plump, Chapter One, was entirely crowd-funded through Kickstarter. The second installment, Plump, Chapter Two, followed in 2017. ~ James Christopher Monger
