Composer and producer Yeah Proof—aka Balwinder Singh—has worked with many of the hottest stars in the Punjabi music industry, but the artist he’s most closely associated with is megastar Karan Aujla. It’s with Aujla’s 2020 hit “Red Eyes” that Yeah Proof broke through, and he’s subsequently brought the beats in several of the singer and songwriter’s chartbusters, such as the single “On Top”, songs from the EPs Way Ahead in 2022, Street Dreams in 2024 and the same year’s Four Me, as well the Apple Music India number-one “Tauba Tauba” from the soundtrack of Hindi film Bad Newz. His skills have been enlisted by the likes of Diljit Dosanjh, Garry Sandhu and Parmish Verma, but Yeah Proof occasionally takes the mic himself, as on the tracks “Dolla Bag” and “Better & Better” with regular collaborator HOMEBOY.
