On the likes of “Secretly Hoping You Catch Me Looking”, slow-tempo rhythms and electric piano tones capture the crepuscular mood. Elsewhere, swelling synths crackle with energy, delicate guitar figures reverberate and, as on “Tired”, hip-hop-influenced beats snap to attention.
