Rabbit Hole

Waiting by the rabbit hole

Hoping I could catch it whole

But turned into a stakeout

So now

It’s time to play the waiting game

No matter if its night or day

I’ll be ready to go

But I know

It’s out of my own hands like a sail at sea

No doubt I understand it is more than me

Intent and ideas I have even though

It’s out of my control, when I’m by the rabbit hole

Waiting by the rabbit hole

Heading for a hazy goal

Hoping it will arrive

Survive

But maybe it will never come

No matter where it started from

It won’t be the first time

Or last time
