Cheerless, overclouded, fog is rising, leafless trees Everything stays out, lights, life, melodies Tacitly, times passing by like a river that flows and gets lost Dejection's overpowering, while life runs its course Out of the window I see colours trying to flee White, gray and brown replacing yellow, red and green With the frustration of last night a new day is at hand Only the dawn, but it's just a spring lie, telling me: don't get mad The wind churns up the water, I can't handle the wild flow I'm trying but I can't see the horizon anymore And 'cause I just can't avoid my sadness anymore I lay down to sleep - go, leave me alone!
