For 20 years, South Fulton County has had the same leadership

We have to stop asking people to build things for us

And start building things for ourselves.

It's time to stop begging for development and become developers.

Khalid Speech:

The City of South Fulton is the Blackest City in America

So I wanna take a minute to talk to Black people

We don't control enough of our music and enough of our media

And enough of the images our children our seeing.

One of the reasons that I do things

Like talking about South Fulton being the Blackest City in America

Or making Juneteenth a holiday before President Biden

And it becoming a national holiday

Is because we need to teach our children they have value

If they are not getting that

In the music and media they are seeing outside the City of South Fulton

Then we have to create the images that will encourage our children to be

Black. On Purpose.
