Deaf Dumb and Blind

A deaf man knows an angry sea kissing the shore

A dumb man hears enough to know:

Men don't want war

Why can't they see it?

Are they deaf, dumb, or blind?

When will they see it?

Always deaf, dumb, and blind

In prejudice pray

While falsified truths in bigotry play

And still, a deaf man seems to hear

A blind man sees a flowerbed within a soul
