The Terem Quartet was formed by four graduates of the Leningrad Conservatory by four young men on accordion, balalaika, and (two) domras. They play both traditional folk as well as their own material, and their hallmark is a lively and irreverent eclecticism. They have toured several times with WOMAD. ~ Leon Jackson
