Anne Akiko Meyers is an important American violinist who has enjoyed a lot of attention since her early years. She has performed on many of the world's most famous stages and with equally famous conductors, including Kristjan Jarvi and Gustavo Dudamel, orchestras, and other musicians. In addition to her artistry in the standard repertoire, Meyers has more and more frequently set herself apart as a champion of new music. Some of her dozens of recordings have debuted at number one on the Billboard Classical chart, and she is popular on many classical radio stations and streaming platforms. Her many composition debuts include the concerto Fandango by Arturo Márquez in 2021 and Blue Electra by Michael Daugherty in 2022. Meyers' busy schedule continued in the mid-2020s with several albums appearing in 2025, including Michael Daugherty: Blue Electra; Last Dance at the Surf; To the New World.
