Singer and rapper Lauren Sanderson makes an inspirational and deeply personal mix of pop, hip-hop, and R&B.
• The Indiana native got her start on Youtube sharing motivational speeches, including a 2015 TEDx Talk about coming out as gay to her parents.
• She soon began posting music online, including a cover of Maroon 5’s “She Will Be Loved,” followed by the self-released EPs Center of Attention and Spaces in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
• After signing with Epic Records, Sanderson rereleased the Spaces track “Written in the Stars” with a new verse from rapper PnB Rock as her major label debut.
• Sanderson left Epic after 2018’s six-song DON’T PANIC EP and signed with Young Forever for her first album, 2020’s Midwest Kids Can Make It Big.
