With their 2020 debut Unmask Whoever, the band built on the reputation of its members' former groups Grooms, Russian Baths, and Field Mouse for challenging, unexpected sounds; on 2023's Spirit in the Room and 2025's A Thousand Years in Another Way, they channeled the transitory nature of life and loss with a ghostly blend of trip-hop and dream pop.
