Acerca de Belters Only
Through catchy vocals and euphoric grooves, Belters Only is leading the renaissance of Irish dance music. Its members, Bissett and RobbieG, separately cut their teeth in the Dublin scene before coming together for a weekly DJ residency. When clubs closed during the pandemic, they turned their focus to production. Belters Only released its debut single, “Make Me Feel Good,” in 2021 to massive success: It peaked within the Top 5 of the UK Official Singles Chart and became the first homegrown dance track in more than two decades to top the Official Irish Singles Chart. Subsequent singles “Don’t Stop Just Yet” and “I Will Survive” channeled the old school, reworking songs by Morcheeba and Gloria Gaynor respectively. Between solo releases, Belters Only collaborated with UK artists Riton and Sonny Fodera; produced songs for regular collaborator, the singer Jazzy (earning another Irish No. 1 with 2023’s “Giving Me”); and completed an Ibiza residency—showing the world what Ireland’s dance music scene has to offer.
