In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As far back as I can remember, I was always drawn to hip hop. Hearing Eminem’s verse on Smack That blew my mind. But it was DIVINE on Kaam 25 that lit the spark. I made a beat, wrote a verse, and haven’t stopped since.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? J. Cole, The Off-Season Prabh Deep, Bhram Seedhe Maut, Sez on the Beat, Nayaab These albums taught me a lot about what I love to write about. The chaos in my head, the calm in between, and everything that doesn’t always get said out loud.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Chhoo Mantar” It’s the first song I ever wrote. The words just spoke to me. It took a long time to reach a point where I felt okay putting it out.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Haven’t been at it long enough to pick a defining moment. I’m still building, still striving for more.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? A lot, actually — building a strong audience, releasing more music consistently, collaborating with artists I vibe with, and eventually selling out shows. Just getting started.
