In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up on the upper east side of Manhattan and going to the record store Musical Maze and buying the album Jeff Beck Live with the Jan Hammer Group. Alerted my life forever and molded who I am as an instrumental guitarist.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jeff Beck, Wired Joe Satriani, Surfing with the Alien Remastered The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Are You Experienced Deluxe Version The three of these albums are extremely important to the guitar evolution for instrumental rock spanning 3 decades. There are so many more like Led Zeppelin I, Steve Vai "Flexible", the first Van Halen Album and of course Mahavishnu Orchestra.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Speed of Sound (feat. Joe Satriani)” Very special song for me on a few different levels. First to perform on a song with one of my guitar influences Joe Satriani is a true honor. On top of that the song pays homage to our veterans which is featured on the album Brothers in Arms.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I have been blessed recording with many of my guitar icons. But I think sitting in the studio and producing Larry Coryell was one that sticks out the most. He was a true musical soul-we really bonded as he told me wonderful stories of from the 60's.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Good question. But I think had a very fulfilling career leaving behind an extensive catalog. Funny I never intended on this career path, but I just followed the road and this is where it led me. Kismet I guess! Thanks to my fans and supporters.
