Cartoon is an Estonian electronic production trio that blends EDM energy with infectious pop melodies and drum ’n’ bass rhythms.
• The group comprises Joosep Järvesaar, Hugo-Martin Maasikas, and Ago Teppand, who’s earned engineering credits with 5 Seconds of Summer, The Used, and others.
• Cartoon’s 2015 song “On & On” was released on the label NoCopyrightSounds, which gave gamers, streamers, and content creators free reign to use the song for anything.
• “On & On” has been used in at least 5.5 million videos. The song’s official music video has surpassed 407 million views.
• In 2016, the trio released “I Remember U,” a disco-funk single with singer Jüri Pootsmann, who won the sixth season of Estonia is Searching for a Superstar. The single hit No. 1 on the Estonian Airplay Chart.
• The band briefly went on hiatus in 2017 but returned in 2019 with fresh remixes and a Spanish version of “On & On.”
