In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember the first saxophone I got I took it home and played it for hours and when I finished I was cleaning it out and the cleaning swab got stuck in there and i was scared i broke. My dad had to get a hanger to get it, but luckily it was okay.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? David Sánchez, Carib Jason Moran, Artist In Residence Miguel Zenón, Yo Soy La Tradición (feat. Spektral Quartet) I found these three very unique because of the over all concepts, the compositions, and the variety of improvisational approaches that were implemented by each artist. It's really hard to nail it down to just three albums, but these stick out now.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Ubuntu” The concept of Ubuntu is very inclusive because it emphasizes the goodness of the group over the individual and I believe we captured it in this recording. It's a playful melody that stays with the listener and I'm very proud my music is memorable.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I think the most memorable moment in my career so far would either be performing at the Kennedy Center with Sound Reformation or our first tour on the west coast.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We're just getting started. More albums coming in the next few years and more cities and countries to play in.
