∙ Cooper said he decided to become an actor as a child, after he saw John Hurt in David Lynch’s 1980 film The Elephant Man.
∙ His first film appearance was in the 2001 film Wet Hot American Summer, and he found early fame in a supporting role on TV’s Alias.
