The overarching theme on these 3 albums is musicianship. Hyper Static Union always strove toward the blending of 70s funk with big 80s/90s rock. Lenny Kravitz has always kept the rock funky and funk rockin'.

“Praying For Sunny Days”
This tune was written in a hurry to make sure the label had something poppy for the album. Mike Jackson brought a simple bassline into the studio and I played a guitar solo in 1 take that turned into the chorus melody. Nearly un-sing-able!
