In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being 7 years old, and my mom encouraged me to sing in the school talent show. I had never been more scared, and more proud. That is my first memory of performing.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Madi Diaz, History of a Feeling Phoebe Bridgers, Stranger in the Alps Tracy Chapman, Tracy Chapman I grew up on Tracy Chapman - the songwriting is just unmatched. Phoebe Bridgers is my go-to when I need to be in my feelings, and Madi Diaz is a more recent favorite. I fell in love with her honesty and raw lyrics.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Until We Meet Again” I wrote this about a friend who was sick, and for the first time I had to think about the possibility of losing him. The outpouring of messages from listeners saying this song helped them through a hard time means everything to me.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing Boston Pride was one of the most memorable moments - I love everything that pride celebrates, and being on a stage that size was truly something I will never forget.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to go on tour in Europe! That is a dream of mine. Hopefully in the next couple years that can become a reality!
