Issuing an uncanny, ethereal blend of orchestrated indie pop and insular synth experiments involving manipulated voice samples, Lisel is the solo project of classically trained violinist and soprano Eliza Bagg. Her debut album, Angels on the Slope, arrived in 2019. After releasing a collection of Patterns for Auto-Tuned Voices and Delay in 2023, Bagg took her sound experiments to another level on 2024's The Vanishing Point, a deliberate attempt to blend pop and hyperpop tropes with the avant-garde.
