One of Mexico's iconic singer/songwriters, Lucero is globally renowned for her rancheras, mariachis, and pop songs and acting skills. Her first chart success was 1990's Con Mi Sentimiento, and others included 1998's multi-platinum Cerca de Ti, Cuando Sale un Lucero (2004), and Quiéreme Tal Como Soy (2006). 2010's Indispensable included the global hit "Dueña de Tu Amor." 2017's Brasileira offered bossas and sambas. That year also saw the arrival of Enamorada con Banda, the first release in her Sinaloan trilogy, followed by 2018's Más Enamorada con Banda and 2019's Sólo Me Faltabas Tú. The retrospective box set 20y20 followed a year later.
