British singer-songwriter Mae Muller makes soulful pop songs about the good and bad aspects of early-adult relationships.
• At 19, the North London native released her debut song, “Close,” which she wrote while bored on a train. The song—along with covers of tunes by Rihanna and Frank Ocean—created enough buzz for Muller to quit her day job.
• After signing with Capitol Records, she released a pair of 2018 EPs: Frankly and After Hours.
• In 2019, Muller released her full-length debut, Chapter 1, and opened for Little Mix on their #LM5 Tour.
• Her third EP, 2020’s no one else, not even you, features production from Kenny Beats on the track “plot twist.”
