Acerca de Mostly Strangers
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
The band started in a tiny New York apartment during the start of 2020, before the pandemic shutdowns began. After the shutdown, much of our music became recontectualized to reflect the isolation being felt during that period.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Motion City Soundtrack, Commit This to Memory
My Chemical Romance, The Black Parade
Say Anything, ...Is a Real Boy
My Chemical Romance's 'The Black Parade' paved the way for theatrical production. Motion City Soundtrack's 'Commit this to Memory' is one of the most vulnerable records ever. Say Anything's '...is a Real Boy' pushes unabashed lyricism to its limits.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Sad Boy Hours”
"Sad Boy Hours" truly cements who we are and what our music is all about: depressing, yet relatable lyrics set against a backdrop of powerful pop-punk riffs and catchy melodies.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Stepping onto the stage to celebrate 5 years of our debut EP, 'Where the Heart is', was a truly special moment. It showed the enduring nature of our songs are still connecting with people who find them.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
We're really hoping to do a regional tour soon to bring our music to even more people!
