• Born in Johannesburg, she moved to Switzerland at a young age. She credits South Africa’s lush natural beauty and rhythmic sounds as big inspiration.
• By the time she released her first tracks in 2009, she’d already found an atmospheric sound built on layers of crystal-clear synths.
• In the absence of a single big breakout hit, Nora En Pure has built a solid reputation on the strength of many strong releases and a heavy touring schedule. She’s become a favorite on festival lineups from Coachella to Tomorrowland.
• In 2014, she kicked off her Purified Radio mix series, which streams on Apple Music. She’s recorded more than 200 episodes.
