Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad calling me to the stage at the Houston International Jazz Festival, as a 6 year old, to sit in with the band.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Common, Like Water For Chocolate Earth, Wind & Fire, The Essential Earth, Wind & Fire Weather Report, Heavy Weather (Bonus Track Version) I grew up with musicians as parents so I was exposed to a variety of music. These 3 albums-Fusion Jazz, Hip Hop, and R&B, are albums that I could listen to from top to bottom without skipping any songs.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Easy Day at Work (feat. Bobby Lyle)” This is the first single that I released. As an independent artist, musician, and writer, it's special to see all of the hard work you've put into the creative process be received positively.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Having the opportunity to do a European tour as part of the Bob James Trio back in 2018.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to tour with my own band. Stateside and abroad.
