Acerca de Rebecca Black
Californian singer and songwriter Rebecca Black has evolved from a novelty sensation to a forward-thinking pop auteur. She achieved overnight success in 2011 as a young teen with the viral smash "Friday," which became one of the most enduring singles of the 2010s. Attempting to distance herself from one-hit-wonder territory, she followed with more Billboard-charting tunes. In her late teens, she re-emerged with a more mature, reflective electro-pop on songs like 2016's "The Great Divide" and 2019's "Anyway." That sound carried over to her 2021 EP Rebecca Black Was Here. By 2023, her sonic reinvention was cemented when she finally released her official debut full-length, the hyperpop-heavy Let Her Burn. Rave and techno influences marked Black's next release, the 2025 EP Salvation.
