Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Being in my oldest sisters room observing all of her music hero posters while listening to her records. It was magical and mysterious.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Miles Davis, Kind of Blue Santana, Santana / Abraxas / Santana III Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life 1.Melody and structure just fluid. Improvisation is top shelf brilliant! 2. Fiery percussion, melodic and bombastic guitars. Bringing different genres together, a world music. 3. Great harmony, song structure and lyrics. A song writing lesson!

To do away with injustices that people of color experience in our country. However change cannot occur until all people unify to make it happen.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Members of Santana were walking around the Taste of Chicago Fest killing time before their hit and they heard me playing the last song of our set. They came over, invited me to come backstage after their show and I met my inspirer Carlos Santana.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Travel to Europe and South America to perform my music.
