Rossa is the quintessential diva—and her vocal chops are well worthy of joining the grand tradition of pop icons. Born Sri Rossa Roslaina Handiyani in 1978, Rossa was a precocious talent, releasing a debut album at just nine years old. 1996’s Nada-Nada Cinta—a title foreshadowing her romance-focused discography—brought her a first flush of fame, while Tegar, secured her place in the spotlight. Since then, Rossa has remained one of Indonesia’s top-selling acts and has conquered other Asian markets, all thanks to her blockbuster songs and inimitable vocals. In 2025, she released the sky-scraping pop album Sumpah Mati.
