American singer-songwriter salem ilese is best known for the international hit “Mad at Disney.”
∙ salem ilese started taking songwriting lessons with professional songsmith Bonnie Hayes (Cher, Bonnie Raitt) when she was ten.
∙ After attending the Berklee College of Music, she moved to Los Angeles and released her first EP, 757, in 2019.
∙ “Mad at Disney,” which went viral after being posted on social media, hit No. 7 on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 in 2020, and it made the Top 10 in Belgium, Malaysia, and Singapore.
