In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I saw Fugazi play in 1994 or so and it was incredibly moving. Everything checked out. The same year I saw Blond Redhead tear up the stage at the Jabberjaw, which also melted my brain in ways I still get chills about.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Wolves” This is one of those rare songs that I sat down and wrote in a span of 15 minutes. That is rare for me, and I am one to take many months if not years writing a song, so it was a welcome surprise. I love to play it in almost every set I do.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have come to believe that any moment you are playing music with your friends is an incredibly lucky opportunity. One to be cherished deeply. I have received as much satisfaction playing in a practice space as I have on stage at the Hollywood Bowl.
