In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories would definitely be my time as a part of the Tuskegee University Golden Voices Choir. Going to an HBCU and having the unique opportunity to surround myself around so many talented individuals was amazing!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kanye West, Graduation Pharrell Williams, In My Mind (Deluxe Edition) Ryan Leslie, Ryan Leslie These albums were definitely the ones that spurred a lot of my creative motion. They hold a sentimental mark for me as these were some of the musical influences I somewhat emulated from a production standpoint early on.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Fade To Black (feat. J'uno & Krazyfingaz)” One of my all time favorite productions I have. We recorded this project in the span of a weekend off spur of the moment. Definitely had some of the most fun doing this project to date!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment so far in my career was finding out that I had been officially nominated for a Latin Grammy. The news came so randomly and through me for the biggest loop possible, but that has to be one of the best days of my life!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Bucket list: I want to actually win that Grammy! To be able to experience that process and learn from that opportunity only pushed me to strive even harder and create to the best of my ability!
