With their pop-rap appeal, R&B-styled choruses, and lyrics that utilized the street slang of hardcore rap, the Augusta, Georgia duo known as TK-N-Cash were solo artists when they met in 2007. A year later, they formed Banq Boi Entertainment and moved to nearby Atlanta, where an appearance at Ludacris' Disturbing tha Peace Talent Search led to talks with various labels. In 2011, they joined BET's Scream Tour, while TK earned a co-writing credit on the Trey Songz cut "What I Be On." Banq Boi released their single "Anthem" in 2013, the same year they signed a major-label deal with Columbia. The Sony-associated label released TK-N-Cash's single "Mind Right" in 2014. ~ David Jeffries
