Biografía de este/a artista
In the 1950s and ‘60s, some singers recorded and performed a variety of songs--Dinah Washington, Bobby Darin, and Ray Charles all covered pop standards, country, jazz, and R&B songs. Tony DeSare aspires to b eing that kind of singer, and succeeds. While inspired by pre-rock era crooners Frank Sinatra and Nat “King” Cole, DeSare also embraces the hit sounds of several periods, including early rock & roll, Bob Dylan, and the smooth ‘80s pop of Phil Collins, wrapping them in his malleable, jazz-accented vocal approach.
