Triumph of Death is a tribute band honoring Swiss extreme metal legends Hellhammer, who have achieved near-mythic status in the metal underground despite their brief, two-year tenure in the early '80s. The group is fronted by vocalist/guitarist Tom Gabriel Warrior, who led Hellhammer before founding the hugely influential Celtic Frost in 1984. In 2023, Triumph of Death released Resurrection of the Flesh, a concert LP compiled from performances in Houston, Munich, and Portugal.
