Tuneful and hard rocking, Watershed are an alternative rock band from Columbus, Ohio who have been delivering their own brand of music since the late 1980s. Playing with the lean intensity of a band steeped in underground sounds but with the hooky melodies and singalong choruses of Cheap Trick and Big Star, the group burst onto the national scene with 1994's Twister, their major-label debut, and though it didn't break out nationally, it helped establish the loyal following that has supported them ever since. 1998's Star Vehicle '98 and 2002's The More It Hurts the More It Works were smart, muscular rock & roll LPS with melodies and punch, and 2024's Blow It Up Before It Breaks showed the band hadn't lost its stride after more than 30 years in the game.
