Basketball star Wayman Tisdale had always maintained a double life as a jazz bassist, but in 1995, two years before he retired from the game, he released his first album, POWER FORWARD, which showed him to be adept at smooth jazz with a healthy dose of funk and R&B. Since then, he's pursued music with the same fierce passion he brought to sports, maintaining a prolific release schedule and collaborating with everyone from Dave Koz to Toby Keith.
