In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 12 years old, a regional musician invited me up to play a song during his set at a local pub. I played Hotel California and got a standing ovation. After that, I knew what I wanted to do with my life.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Merle Haggard, Vintage Collections: Merle Haggard The Allman Brothers Band, At Fillmore East (Live) Live The Band, Music from Big Pink (Deluxe Edition) 2018 Stereo Remix and Remaster The Allman's "Live At Fillmore East" taught me how to play guitar. The Band's "Music From Big Pink" taught me how to write songs. And Haggard taught me how to sing. 'Nuff said.

What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Filming the PBS show Song Of The Mountains when I was in Lee Roy Parnell's band was great. I always wanted to be on Austin City Limits when I was growing up, and this was pretty close.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? just some minor things: tour the world, sign with a major label, write with James Taylor, record with Derek trucks, win a grammy; you know, just the basics... :)
