California's Wolves in Argyle are a dark punk and progressive hard rock outfit centered on singer/guitarist Dave Holmes. Formed in 2013, the group also features journeyman punkers guitarist Josh Phillips, bassist Joe Garcia, and drummer Steve Moriarty. A native of Stockton, Holmes grew up in a musical family as the son of a bassist father and great-grandson of one of the original members of Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys. By his teens, he was playing bass in various punk bands around Northern California. He eventually switched to guitar and led several of his own groups prior to putting together Wolves in Argyle. In 2016 they delivered their debut single, "Northern Lies." ~ Matt Collar
