Yeri Mua is the moniker of Mexican singer and social media personality Yeri Cruz Varela. Varela became an internet celebrity thanks to her make-up and lifestyle videos. A trend with many Latin influencers, her next step was to launch a musical career as a saucy performer of reggaeton and urbano music. Released in August 2023, her first single, "Chupón," featuring El Gudi, Jey F, Alan Dazmel, and Oviña, became a viral hit. A further dozen collaborations followed over the next 8 to 10 months, among these "Mamita Rica," "Línea del Perreo," and "Brattyputy." Mua was signed by Sony Music in June 2024, with her debut album De Chava arriving in 2025.
