Recording as Toro y Moi, Chaz Bundick is best known as one of the torchbearers of the late-‘00s chillwave scene. But his discography readily embraces other genres, with 2010's Causers of This nodding to hip-hop and 2013's Anything in Return flirting with R&B. Initially channeling his influences through his bedroom laptop pop act, Bundick has expanded his arsenal to include a range of synths and pianos, giving him more tools to stay prolific and take his music to places unknown with each release.
