Burhan Bayar launched his career with support from Muhittin Paydaş and Beyaz Mehmet Hoca. The songwriter subsequently became a symbol of arabesque music culture—working with artists such as Orhan Gencebay, Zeki Müren, Ferdi Tayfur, Barış Manço and Sezen Aksu as well as joining the polyphonic orchestra of TRT radio.
