North London producers Kye "Foamo" Gibbon and Matt "RackNRuin" Robson-Scott struck gold when they combined a love of 2-step garage rhythms, booty-bouncing bass, and pop-song sensibilities. With contemporaries Disclosure and Clean Bandit, the duo set off a new wave of UK dance music that honors the deep and funky four-four foundations of American house, but with the wiggling breakbeats and spirited singing that the Brits specialize in.
